International Group to EcoRegion · 15 of March in Brussels

We are delighted to invite you to the next international workshop, involving social actors to develop new EcoRegions.

EcoRegion is an economic community for regional ecological alimentation and agriculture.

Farmers, local citizens, governments and universities promote the ecological enterprises of their own region with micro-capital and participate in the regional economical dynamization as shareholders. The supported value chain of production, commercialization, distribution and services generates economic, social and environmental benefit for the region. This balanced return enables regional small, and medium sized farms and grocery producers to survive in a highly competitive market while also allowing local supply chains and synergies to strengthen the region’s sustainable values and consumers to enjoy ecological alimentation.

In Germany the Regionalwert AG is already successful: 700 investors support 20 companies with more than 150 workers and 30 trainees with a capital of € 3 million.

To spread the idea of this sustainable model we are organizing an international event.
